New York Restaurants

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I am going to New York, one of my favorite places in the world, with my mom in a couple of days. We have a few dinner reservations planned so far, but are looking for some new suggestions. If you have any recommendations, please post a comment.

p.s. the theater district would be good.

  2. so much to say, in so short a time.

quick - Pizza. John's on Bleeker Street, or even on the Upper East Side, if you're there.

Balthazar in the Soho area is a great take for dinner. Lots of enthusiasm and a great, varied menu.

Il Cantinori also in the Village. Upscale and very good, authentic N. Italian.

The Viand is a great Greek diner up on Madison near 61st Street. Corn Muffin on the grill!
