Hot Fudge Sundaes

My brother and I always love a nice hot fudge sundae! In these photos we are making hot fudge (and tasting it as you can see!). Here is a recipe for chocolate ganache frosting that is super simple and delicious. We use it for hot fudge because you can whip it up in, literally 5 minutes.

Yummy Hot Fudge!

1/2 cup heavy cream
6 ounces semisweet or dark chocolate, broken into 1/2- ounce pieces

Heat 1/2 cup heavy cream in a 1 1/2- quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil. Put 6 ounces semisweet or dark chocolate in a stainless steel bowl. Pour the boiling cream over the chocolate and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Mix with a whisk until smooth.
Scoop some ice cream into a bowl and drizzle some warm hot fudge on top! If you like, add a dollop of whipped cream!
